Announcement for the Position of Professorship

1. Position Available: One Associate Professor

2. Affiliation: Education Academy of Computational Life Sciences (ACLS)

3. Mission: Planning, executing and coordinating classes, exercises and experiments in ACLS, one of a program for Leading Graduate Schools supported by MEXT, Japan (see JSPS web page at http://www.jsps.go.jp/j-hakasekatei/)
Conducting various education and research activities required for its development and achievement. Please refer detailed information in http://www.acls.titech.ac.jp/

4. Requirements:
1) Applicants must understand the purpose and share the reformation philosophy of ACLS as a program for Leading Graduate School.
2) Applicants must have ability to perform the business affairs in the following clause.
3) Applicants must have outstanding achievement relevant to the business affairs and also have ability to supervise graduate students.
4) Applicants must have Ph. D or doctoral degree in the related area.

5. Business Affairs: Teaching classes “Creative Collaboration Works I,” “Computer Networking Systems Theory” and coordinating ACLS International Summer School and other events of ACLS.
Research Field: Systems Modeling, Simulation and Optimization

6. Expected Start Dates: As soon as possible after Jul. 1, 2014.
